About the Role:
Join our dynamic investment team as an Investment Associate, where you will support portfolio management and investment activities across a diverse range of asset classes. This role offers exposure to strategic analysis, due diligence and portfolio operations within a collaborative environment that values growth and work life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and financial analysis across multi-asset classes, with a focus on private equity and private credit.
- Monitor market developments, industry trends and fundraising timelines; conduct due diligence on external asset managers.
- Maintain asset management systems, ensuring accurate collection and organization of data.
- Assist in portfolio analysis and prepare investment memoranda/presentations for Management review.
- Execute treasury activities including cash management, FX transactions and credit facility maintenance.
- Support proactive investment risk surveillance and ensuring compliance with investment guidelines.
- Provide analytical, technical and administrative support to the CIO and Investment Manager throughout the investment process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related discipline.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in the financial sector will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with expertise in financial concepts and investment principles.
- Proficiency in Excel (Macro / VBA skills a definite advantage).
- Self-driven, detail-oriented and effective in a team-based environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Cantonese; proficiency in Putonghua.
- CFA or CAIA members / candidates are preferred.
